What is CHIT?
CHIT, the Capital Halloween Invitational Tournament, is the Washington DC area's gay bowling tournament for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. The tournament has been held for over 45 years as a fixture in the IGBO (International Gay Bowling Organization) calendar. Although we are a Halloween-focused event, there have been a range of fun themes with CHIT enjoying a Fiesta celebration, a Movie marathon or even a Broadway showcase in earlier years - to this year's Murder Mystery theme. Sponsors help make the tournament exciting, bringing bowlers back each year from all over the United States.

Sponsorship Levels
The following sponsorship levels are available. Each level will receive the benefits listed with and below it. Our organization is a registered 501(c)7 Non-Profit and the parent organization is 501(c)3.

PLATINUM - $751.00 and UP

• Name on two events through the year
• Framed Certificates of Appreciation
• Front page billing on website
• Demonstration/display and/or sales of products/services during at least one event leading up to tournament, and/or one day during the tournament
• Invitation to Banquet and Hospitality Suite.
• Organization will use the sponsor’s venue for at least one event throughout the year. (If applicable)
• Organization will do a shared event with the sponsor. (If applicable)
• Venue signage at tournament and all other events
• Sponsorship of a specific event during the tournament; i.e., Singles Event, Banquet, hospitality suite, etc.

GOLD - $501.00 to $750.00

• Framed Certificates of Appreciation
• Venue signage at tournament and all other events
• Invitation for two to Banquet. Seats at VIP Table
• Organization will use the sponsor’s venue for at least one event throughout the year. (If applicable)
• Organization will do a shared event with the sponsor. (If applicable)
• Ad on organization’s website other than first page

SILVER - $251.00 to $500.00

• Organization will share news and events from the Sponsor on its social media platforms
• At least one “Sponsor Spotlight” in tournament’s electronic newsletter
• Sponsor listing on the back of event cards distributed at events

BRONZE - $100.00 up to $250.00

• Sponsor may provide flyers to be distributed at events and tournament
• Name on the CHIT website

Payment Options
Sponsors will have the following options:

• Payment Plan (quarterly – billed by invoice)
• 10% Discount if Paid in Full by Sept 30th, 2025
• Partial Payment through in-kind gifts or gift certificates. Example $3,000.00 Gold sponsor pays $2000.00 in cash/check and $1000.00 in gift certificates or products
